The 18th Annual Scouts Festival for Sinai University’s Scouts and Guides took place, with the support of Prof. Dr. Gehan Fekry, President of the University, Professor Dr. Abdel Hamid Abdo, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Ahmed Farag, the Secretary-General. The festival commenced with a parade of eight delegations, including a delegation from El-Galala University and two delegations from the university’s Kantara branch.

Over four days, the delegations competed in various scouting, religious, cultural, and artistic activities, including debate tournaments, Quran recitation, culinary skills, outdoor survival, and more. The closing ceremony featured a documentary of the festival events and was attended by prominent figures such as Professor Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Khalil, President of the North Sinai Sea Scouts Association.

Professor Dr. Abdel Hamid Abdo celebrated the festival’s 18-year legacy and commended the effort and dedication of the participants, highlighting Sinai University’s commitment to supporting meaningful activities. Awards were given to outstanding leaders, with participants from Galala University and both the Arish & the Kantara branches receiving top honors. Ultimately, the trophy was awarded to the Faculty of Dentistry delegation from the Arish branch.
