Social Solidarity Day (Orphan Day)
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Gehan Fekry, President of Sinai University, and Professor Dr. Abdel Hamid Abdo, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Sinai University held a celebration on the occasion of Orphan Day under the slogan “Sinai University Loves You” on Monday, April 7, 2025, at the playgrounds of Sama El-Arish Village.
The celebration began at 9:00 AM at the village playgrounds, with the participation of five charitable organizations from El-Arish city: Al-Shajara Foundation, Sinai Woman’s Rights, Al-Radwan, Egyptian Eagles, and Amr ibn al-Aas. A total of 88 children participated.
The celebration began with a recitation of the Holy Quran by the participating children. A games segment including running, entertaining games, football, and other games took place, in addition to competitive games and singing.
The celebration was honored by the presence of Professor Dr. Khaled Hajjaj, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Abeer Gawish, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, and several members of the administrative staff.
At the end of the ceremony, the leaders of the ceremony extended their deepest thanks and gratitude to all participants, expressing their happiness and joy at this community contribution and taking commemorative photos of this event.
